Senior Financial Systems Specialist, CG-0501-14

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience leading projects or teams responsible for designing, testing, implementing, or monitoring components of financial management and accounting systems including PeopleSoft modules, consistent with accounting and system controls, policies, practices and standards Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
This position is located in the Division of Finance, Controller Branch, Financial Systems, Security and Operations Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of expert management for the NFE financial system and other DOF supported systems by analyzing, coordinating, guiding, and implementing system components in their specific areas of expertise with regard to developing, maintaining, enhancing and upgrading systems.
