Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience and/or education which demonstrates progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work which has provided a general knowledge of commercial sponsorship principles, practices, solicitation and negotiations. Experience should demonstrate the ability to plan and implement new and unique programs; compose written material and conduct verbal/oral presentations; solicit and negotiate sponsorship agreements; develop advertising copy. A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field highly desired. Must be able to produce copywriting without grammatical errors and be efficient with Microsoft Office and Excel. Must be organized, creative, detail oriented, and accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines. Must have ability to read, write, and speak English. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public. Employee must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 investigation. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the NAF Marketing Office. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 35 hours per week, may work up to 40 hours per week.
