Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading a comprehensive congressional and public affairs program aimed at educating both domestic and international audiences. Experience planning, directing, and evaluating national and international campaigns to effectively communicate complex information regarding command missions. Experience crafting written and oral communications to address various partners and the public, providing detailed explanations and justifications for the command’s programs. Experience overseeing and assisting with the preparation of memos, correspondence, legislative summaries, briefing materials, and information related to defense issues and maritime congressional matters. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the Public Affairs Office (N02P), Office of the Chief of Staff (N02), Military Sealift Command (MSC) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
