Contract Specialist (Intermediate)

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Have commercial/government contracting, acquisitions, procurement, purchasing, program/project management, logistics, or accounting experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Demonstrate leadership qualities that support quality processes within the Directorate and the office. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other related software. Experience with public laws, regulations, and policies is desirable. Experience with commercial practices, and market conditions applicable to program and technical requirements is desirable. Nonappropriated Funds contracting experience is desirable. This position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center at Port San Antonio, TX. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.
