SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in scientific management, optimizing workflows, plant layouts, and engineered work standards, while implementing work simplification strategies that prioritize safety and production control. Proficient in requisitioning, storage, delivery, inventory management, material handling, cost control, budget oversight, and personnel management Experience applying knowledge of Advanced Industrial Management (AIM), utilizing Project Sequencing and Scheduling (PSS) analysis, and implementing Performance Measurement and Control (PMC) systems. Skilled in navigating regulations related to costing and program management. Experience with the concepts, principles, and practices of ship repair, maintenance, and modernization planning. This expertise enables me to serve as an authority on the planning and execution of nuclear ship overhauls, inactivation, and recycling work. Experience preparing and managing budgets for maintenance work on both nuclear and non-nuclear surface ships and submarines, with the ability to extend oversight to other naval warfare or support platforms as required. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS MANAGER in the Operations Department of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. This is a temporary/term appointment NTE 1 year.
