CONTRACT COST/ PRICE ANALYST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a thorough knowledge of contracting policies and procedures, negotiation techniques, and technical requirements to negotiate and/or definitize contracts/contractual actions for supplies and services. I have experience working to develop contracting techniques and procurement strategies that can be applied to resolve future procurement/support issues. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing, negotiating, and administering a wide range of contracts to satisfy procurement requirements and resolve a variety of support issues; 2) Utilizing federal contract/ procurement laws, principles, policies, and procedures; 3) Conducting contract price and cost analysis using various accounting and negotiation techniques; 4) Applying acquisition planning, contract specifications, incentives, statutes, and regulations to procurement functions; 5) Developing written and oral presentations which summarize the contracting position to acquisition officials, other agents of the government, and/or industry leaders.
