GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience performing professional level work which enabled the applicant to gain a general understanding of Human Resources functions, disciplines, relationships and administrative machinery for accomplishing work; the ability to analyze problems, apply sound judgment in assessing practical implications of alternative solutions and resolving the problems presented; and the ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Seven years of progressively responsible experience working directly with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) as defined in the position description, and requiring application of a knowledge of HR functions such as organizational design, staffing/recruitment, benefits administration, compensation, classification, performance management, payroll administration/processes, etc. Experience in planning, developing, testing, implementation and documenting HRIS programs and processes; development of HRIS reports, data feeds, interfaces and integrations necessary to pass information to/from the HRIS and other internal and external entities/IT systems; development of operating procedures and ongoing communication and training programs for system users.
