GS-12: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent GS-0501-11. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience for this position includes: managing and analyzing large volumes of budget data; interpreting complex rules and regulations to resolve problems; providing recommendations and guidance; analyzing budget reports and making formal and informal presentations. This position is located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Intelligence Division (NC), Program Management and Budget Section (NCM), Budget Unit (NCMB) located in Arlington, VA. As a Financial Analyst, the incumbent is responsible for the review and analysis of the budget planning, financial management, and support programs carried out by the Intelligence Division.
