Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) facilitating and participating in multifunctional, operational planning teams and use business processes such as; process mapping, and applied research to identify and define complex problem sets; 2) recommending solutions for complex issues such as; training and supporting information technologies issues; 3) preparing and/or present reports, proposals, charts, graphs and dashboards to senior leadership; AND 4) managing contracts that deal with Systems or Business Process to resolve problems. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). NOTE: All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement.
