PROCUREMENT ANALYST

Your resume must have at least one year of Procurement Analyst specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a mastery knowledge of Federal, DOD and DON contracting laws and regulations to make decisions and recommendations which have a direct effect on the operations and efficiency of the Enterprise’s procurement function. You analyze, administer, and manage contracting resources and workload to determine requirements and formulate new or revised business processes and procedures. Specialized experience must include performing the following: 1) Demonstrate an applied mastery knowledge of contracting methods applicable to the acquisition of supplies, and personal and non-personal services sufficient to develop strategic and regulatory contracting policies and procedures and provide expert advice, guidance and training to Navy Field Contracting System (NFCS) activities; 2) Conduct and/or participate in manpower analysis and /or studies of workload and workforce planning engagements to develop and/or review plans, programs, policies and procedures in support of a wide range of activities relative to contracting operations; 3) Gather written inputs, prepare cohesive, organized written reports on issues, present findings and recommendations for senior leadership to develop alternative courses of action and/or strategy in support of department and/or command-wide goals; and 4) Analyze and evaluate formal acquisition plans/strategies, audit and pricing reports, and source selection documentation in support of multi-million-dollar acquisitions.
