INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: monitoring the overall effectiveness of instructional design programs and analyze problems and trends to develop or revise policies; Experience in planning total instructional support requirements for complete instructional programs; Proficient in providing conceptual and procedural guidance in the specialty areas of curriculum development, instructional systems, and course material development; Knowledge of learning theory and the principles, practices, and techniques of instruction and Familiarity with the Systems Approach to Training. My experience demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction.
