This position is subject to a salary control point established in the PEO C3N Acquisition Demo Business Rules. This control point limits salary to a max of $181,216 (GS-14, step 10). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Develop contracting approaches to manage rapid and long-term acquisitions of major C5I systems; 2) Manage the organization’s procurement and contracting processes to meet contractual requirement; and 3) Utilize Acquisition Regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to plan and manage the contract development process. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03)/GS-13.
