You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:- Assessing impact of changes to laws, policy, regulations, and operations in areas of multifaceted jurisdiction (such as tax and/or consumer protection) and advising on future direction; AND – Drafting briefing materials and policy documents, and presenting on matters to senior officials, Congressional/White House staff, industry groups, the public, or other Federal and State agencies; AND – Leading projects to improve an organizations policies and programs, using analytical methods and techniques, that support and provide measurable results/outcomes to senior officials. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
