Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Providing technical guidance on logistics principles, concepts, and cradle to grave logistical support; Leading teams in complex logistics operations and making decisions to internal and external stakeholders that have direct impact on program and project milestones and mission goals; Developing and implement strategic goals and supporting enterprise-wide logistics operations (e.g., leadership controls, mentorship, training, and importance of Diversity and Inclusion). Serves as a Lead Logistics Management Specialist within the Logistics Management Office, Center Operations Directorate. You will be responsible for supervising, leading, or performing work primarily concerned with directing, developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, aerospace system, or other designated program.
