Only experience and education obtained by the closing date 11/22/2024 will be considered. In order to qualify for this position you must possess Minimum Qualifications. Minimum Qualification [GS-12] One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Specialized experience includes (1) Utilizing systems to track maintenance expenditures, capture maintenance needs, quantify maintenance activities, and report maintenance accomplishments, (2) Implementing principles and practices of facility operations, (3) Assisting with facility condition assessments and preparing associated reports, and (4) Working with a variety of workgroups to collaborate on most effective methods of facility asset management. NOTE: Your resume must contain sufficient information in these areas to be found qualified. Minimum Qualification [GS-13] One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Specialized experience includes: (1) Conducting facility condition assessments and preparing associated reports using appropriate computer systems, (2) Working with a variety of interagency workgroups to collaborate on most effective methods of facility asset management, (3) Developing and recommending operational policies, plans, objectives, and instructions covering management of facility assets, (4) Developing annual budget, long-range budget (5 years+), or operating plans for real property, deferred maintenance, or construction projects to align with goals and priorities, and (5) Analyzing facilities to identify facility improvements and opportunities for modernization. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
