Only experience and education obtained by 11/22/2024 will be considered. In order to qualify for this position you must possess the Minimum Qualification. Minimum Qualification [GS-1170-11] Experience: One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-9 in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience that demonstrates the ability to 1) develop and carry out land acquisition and land exchange transactions, rights-of-way and/or special use permits, conducting research, and completing associated records examinations and documentation; 2) determining ownership and disposition of real estate; 3) analyzing courthouse records and/or title reports to determine if there are any encumbrances on real property; and 4) communicating effectively in order to negotiate real property acquisitions, land exchanges, rights-of-way and/or special use permits. OR Education: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorial degree or three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree., or possession of a LLM degree, Degree must be in Real Estate or other field related to the position being filled. Unofficial transcripts are accepted. Official transcripts will be required if selected. OR Combination: A combination of education and experience as described in 1 and 2 above which together equals 100% of the requirement Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time In Grade Requirement: Applicants must meet both eligibility and qualification requirements for the position of interest by the closing date of the JOA. Specifically, i.
