This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including conducting pipeline inspections, installing corrosion prevention flange bands, operating sandblasting machines, applying paints, curing powder coding’s, preparing metal or concrete surfaces, mixing degreasing and pickling solutions by immersion or washing, in accordance with prescribed regulations. I also have the ability to apply coatings to surfaces with various types of paint, enamels, and non-skid materials, etc., employing brushes, spray painting equipment, or paint rolling equipment, mix paints including base materials, thinners, and pigments to obtain appropriate consistency, color, and drying properties; I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
