Individual Occupational Requirements Education Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study — education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. OR Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing medical and nursing instructor lesson plans using Terminal and Enabling learning objectives written in straightforward statements expressed from the learners’ point of view with measurable outcomes that the learner will exhibit at end of lesson; planning, organizing and directing meetings; conducting formal instruction in classroom setting; curriculum formulation and adaptation; and evaluation of students learning and application of teaching principles related to the adult learner. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results. Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Curriculum Development Education / Training Program Administration Education and Training Technology Oral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
About the Position: Plans, prepares and provides classroom and practical exercise instruction for the 68C Practical Nurse Course (PNC) and for the Department of Clinical Specialties using Systems Approach to Training (SAT), a systemic approach to making collective, individual, and self-development training decisions for the total Army.
