EXERCISE SCHEDULER

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, coordinating, and scheduling military operational requests utilizing demonstrated knowledge of training exercise scheduling of subsurface, surface, and/or airborne platforms; 2) Evaluating military range operations conducted offshore (e.g., surface and air missile exercises, rocket firings, torpedo firings, air combat maneuvering, air intercept control, chaff launching/deployment, surface and air gunnery, bombing and underwater demolition) utilizing demonstrated knowledge of capabilities, parameters, and limitations of aircraft, ships, and submarines; 3) Coordinating diverse and hazardous military exercises (e.g., live-fire, integrated air, surface, land, subsurface events) ensuring safety and compliance with existing policies, procedures, and regulations; and 4) Advising all levels of the military structure on matters pertaining to range and training area scheduling requirements by predicting, identifying, and resolving scheduling problems. GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-7) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Scheduling military operational requests utilizing demonstrated knowledge of operational scheduling of subsurface, surface, and/or airborne platforms for military training exercises; 2) Assisting in evaluating military range operations utilizing demonstrated knowledge of capabilities, parameters, and limitations of aircraft, ships, and submarines; 3) Coordinating military exercises ensuring compliance with existing safety regulations; and 4) Preparing briefs of military exercises for distribution to exercise coordinators.
