You must meet the Basic Requirements listed in the Qualifications section and the Specialized Experience to qualify for Management and Program Analyst, as described below. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. THIS IS IMPERATIVE IN DETERMINING IF WHETHER YOU HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF CREDITABLE SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE. DATES WILL NOT BE ASSUMED. GS-12: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of qualifying specialized experience are: Researching and interpreting personnel regulations, policies, and procedures and providing expert guidance or support with Human Resource activities (i.e., processing of personnel actions, workforce recruitment, separations, transfers, details, realignment, and/or reassignments, time and leave administration); Preparing or assisting with creating financial system commitments, obligations, expenses, reconciliations, and/or reports; Supporting the evaluation of productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency to identify and address operational issues and optimize the use of program resources. GS-13: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of qualifying specialized experience are: Researching and interpreting personnel regulations, policies, and procedures and providing expert guidance or support with Human Resource activities (i.e., processing of personnel actions, workforce recruitment, separations, transfers, details, realignment, and/or reassignments, time and leave administration); Preparing or assisting with creating financial system commitments, obligations, expenses, reconciliations, and/or reports; Streamlining organizational processes and procedures to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency; Supporting the evaluation of productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency to identify and address operational issues and optimize the use of program resources.
This position is located in the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Division of Planning and Support.
