To qualify for the position of Supervisory HR Specialist (Staffing/Classification) at (GS-0201-14), you must possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade. To qualify at the GS-14 grade level you must possess the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 or higher grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector, which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include: administering a human resources management program, specifically related to staffing, position management, or position classification. This experience includes advising senior management, preparing HR guidance, and performing HR assignments that cross functional lines. Time in Grade Requirement: Current government employees on a permanent appointment in the competitive service must demonstrate one year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the occupational series and grade. The Tax Division is seeking a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Staffing/Classification) to supervise employees performing work at the GS-13 grade level or below: Human Resources Specialists and Human Resources Assistants. Serves as the first-level supervisor over the staffing and classification team. In addition to supervisory responsibility, the incumbent is the principal expert advisor in the area of staffing, internal placement, and position management/classification.
