GS-09: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: assisting internal customers with inquiries regarding the use and functionality of financial and administrative systems; assisting vendors with inquiries about account and payment status; researching and interpreting regulations and legislation; analyzing common trends that result in end user system errors; and performing internal control reviews. This position is located in the Small Business Administration, OPPCFO/Office of Financial Operations Management in Denver, CO. The incumbent examines, verifies, and analyzes electronic accounting transaction data relating to all loan and/or administrative programs; and works with accountants in the development, installation, operation and maintenance of accounting systems, procedures, and practices.
