ACCOUNTING CLERK

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in work which provided a knowledge of double entry accounting procedures and techniques; knowledge of procedures used to enter, modify, retrieve and delete information in and automated general ledger system; the ability to analyze the interrelationship of accounts that are affected by varied transactions. Preferred experience with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge and ability to use a personal computer and calculator required. Must be able to communicate effectively with people.
About the position: This position will be assigned to NAF Accounting in Resource Management at F.E. Warren AFB. . This position is considered Flexible. The position is guaranteed zero hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits. The starting wage for this position is $16.00 per hour.
