Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing/advising on all phases of budget, such as planning, formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and/or review of an organization’s fiscal program and budget; developing resource (manpower and funding) guidance such as organizational priorities, recommending distribution of constrained resources, and/or performing continuous review and analysis of the utilization of resources; managing internal controls, financial business practices and/or systems for regulatory compliance; coordinating budgetary actions for assigned programs across agencies and/or departments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as the Budget Officer and Branch Chief for the Resource Management Branch, Executive Business Operations Division, Office of the Chief of Staff of the Army (CSA), Arlington, Virgina.
