In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience using a combination of health, agriculture, physical, and biological sciences and methods of public and environmental health to protect Navy personnel and their beneficiaries. Experience working with changing public health laws, rules and regulations and be able to interpret their applicability to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. Experience planning and completing public health services for activities served. Experience resolving conflicts that arise and coordinating the work with other individuals, agencies, and commands as necessary. Experience performing onsite surveys both inside and outside health care areas where there is potential exposure to danger from disease producing microorganisms, toxic chemicals and ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
