Specialized Experience for the GS-10 Grade Level: Specialized experience is defined as experience in monitoring utility systems for preventive maintenance, performing quality assurance inspections of contractor work projects, and preparing designs and specifications for assigned systems in a medical facility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Specialized Experience for the GS-11 Grade Level: Specialized experience is defined as experience in assisting with preparing reports and correspondence, assisting with reviewing equipment maintenance logs, providing assistance with the development of projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Cost Estimation and Analysis Planning and Evaluating Quality Assurance Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). GS-11 Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-10).
About the Position: This position is located in the Facility Management Division, at Womack Army Medical Center, office setting, 8 hr day/ 40 hr per week; work is normally performed in a well-lighted, heated and ventilated space, and often requires incumbent to visit construction sites.
