This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Perform all aspects of architectural design for a wide variety of installation shore facility types, including architectural programming, space planning, concept design development, sustainable design, design analyses. 2) Provide post construction award services (PCAS), including review and approval of contractor’s submittals for conformance with the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications. 3) Investigate or evaluate architectural issues and concerns in existing facilities and develop reports that include recommendations and options for remediation or corrective measures.
