SUPERVISORY SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying safety and occupational health concepts, principles/practices, laws, regulations, standards, techniques and procedures applicable to the performance of complex administrative responsibilities which require planning, organizing, directing, operating and evaluating assigned safety and occupational health programs; 2) Developing local standards, guidelines, standard operating procedures and instructions to eliminate or control safety hazards relative to assigned program area of consideration; 3) Providing inspection, training, workplace monitoring and mishap prevention to include occupational safety and health, traffic, radiation control and off duty/recreational safety; 4) Consulting and maintaining liaison with other safety and health personnel to resolve occupational health hazards or to become familiar with the latest safety techniques and protective devices.; **NOTE** This information must be supported by your resume in order to be considered for the position.
