In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent grade level) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer; applying mechanical engineering/scientific theories, concepts, and practices to coordinate projects involving the design, development or production of energetic or ordnance systems for improved quality and efficiency of tomahawk, missile, or ordnance programs. You will serve as an ENGINEER in the Industrial Services Branch (M52), Navy Weapons Division (M5), within the Manufacturing Department (M) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV located in McAlester, Oklahoma. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
