Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying the principles and techniques of nuclear engineering as it relates to radiological control. Experience utilizing knowledge of the theory, design, and operation of the various mechanical components of a pressurized water reactor plant, sufficient to provide consultation services to corporate entities, as well as, to develop corporate nuclear training products. Experience interpreting reactor plant manuals, radiological controls manual, various valve technical manuals and specific NAVSEA manuals pertaining to the operation and maintenance of nuclear components and systems, sufficient to provide consultation services to corporate entities, as well as, to develop corporate nuclear training products. Progressive background of training and work experience in naval nuclear plant technology, sufficient to provide consultation services to corporate entities, as well as, to develop corporate nuclear training products. Experience applying knowledge of the procedures and processes outlined by the Naval Shipyard Training and Education Program, including Instructional System Design and modern adult learning techniques, sufficient to provide consultation services to corporate entities, as well as, to develop corporate nuclear training products. Experience in the development, analysis, evaluation, and presentation of facts and recommendations in clear, concise, and logical terms while under pressure, both orally and in writing. You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Multimedia Support Branch (Code 2360.4) of the Fleet Maintenance and Radiological Support Division (FMRSD) (Code 2360), Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
