Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) strong knowledge and understanding of aerodynamics design and analysis, flight controls design and algorithms, systems engineering development processes, software acquisition engineering, systems integration & test of unmanned air vehicles (UAVs), ground and range systems integration, engineering change proposals, operational concepts, and test & evaluation of weapon systems; 2) performing requirements analysis, aerodynamic design and analysis, flight controls design and algorithms, documents specification and interfaces, fabricates prototypes, implements systems modifications, and performs systems integration and test; 3) performing software engineering life-cycle tasks from architecture development, requirements analysis, design, and unit and system integration testing; 4) performing system analysis and evaluation of technical data from flight, ground, and laboratory test events to support engineering investigations and determine major program decisions; and 5) planning, coordinating, leadership, communication, and project management that are required for the design, development, and integration of engineering changes of target systems and augmentation/support systems into target platforms based on customer requirements.
