SURFACE MAINTENANCE REPAIRER (T32)

MILITARY GRADE REQUIREMENT: E-1 through E-7 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventative maintenance tasks, and is able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience or training diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and modifying more complex vehicles, equipment, and more complicated systems. Experience which has provided a thorough knowledge of diagnostic equipment. Experience applying independent judgment in determining methods and techniques required to solve unusually complex maintenance and repair problems. Experienced in testing, inspecting, and evaluating the work performed on vehicles, equipment and systems.
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard, WG-11position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE REPAIRER (T32), PD# D1195000 and is part of the RI Combined Support Maintenance Shop. Depending on the level of qualifications, the selectee may be appointed into the full potential grade above, or to the developmental grades of WG-10 (PD# D1194000) or WG-08 (PD# D1193000). Upon completion of time in grade, the selectee may be promoted without further competition.
