Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is currently seeking Multi-Disciplinary Engineers in the skill areas listed below to work at Hill Air Force Base near Layton, Utah. Occupational Series 0830 – MECHANICAL ENGINEER: Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degree. Occupational Series 0855 – ELECTRONICS ENGINEER: Typically, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree. Occupational Series 0861 – AEROSPACE ENGINEER: Aerospace Engineering degree. Occupational Series 0806 – MATERIALS ENGINEER: Materials Engineering degree. Occupational Series 0810 – CIVIL ENGINEER: Civil Engineering degree. Occupational Series 0801 – SYSTEMS ENGINEER: Industrial & Systems or Aerospace & Systems Engineering degrees. NOTE: The AFNWC has interdisciplinary teams and therefore seeks top talent from multiple engineering disciplines. The term “General Engineer” and the federal occupational series “0801 General Engineering” are used when more than one engineering discipline is suitable, or when no specific federal occupational series exists.
