To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Individual Occupational Requirement: Completion of an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards described in 42 CFR Part 75 (Standards for the Accreditation of Educational Programs for and the Credentialing of Radiologic Personnel) and is accredited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education AND certified as a radiographer in my field as evidenced by my active State or national license which is in good standing. OR Have been employed by the Federal Government in a Radiologic position prior to January 13, 1986 and show evidence of current or fully satisfactory performance or certification of such from a licensed practitioner such as a doctor of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, podiatry, or chiropractic who prescribes radiologic procedures to others. OR Have been employed by the Federal Government in a Radiologic position after January 13, 1986 and have received training from institutions in a State or foreign jurisdiction that did not accredit training in that particular field at the time of graduation, or practiced in a State or foreign jurisdiction that did not license that particular field or did not allow special eligibility to take a licensure examination for those who did not graduate from an accredited educational program, provided that such persons show evidence of training, experience, and competence. In addition to the Individual Occupational Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, GS-0647-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Knowledge of systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, tools, and techniques. Knowledge and skills in clinical application support in the health care industry. This will include: RPMS software packages or in medical informatics; management of clinical software; customizing software; training end users on software application; and knowledge to plan, direct, implement, and troubleshoot clinical software. Experience in a hospital, clinic, or health care setting performing a variety of routine and complex radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and computed tomography (CT); operating diagnostic radiology equipment to produce radiographic studies used in medical diagnosis and treatment; coordinating and overseeing the work of other staff; and assisting in planning and directing the functions of a Radiology Department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, GS-0647-12:Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Advanced knowledge and skills in clinical application support in the health care industry. This will include: RPMS software packages or in medical informatics; management of clinical software; customizing software; training end users on software application; and knowledge to plan, direct, implement, and troubleshoot clinical software. Experience in a hospital, clinic, or health care setting performing a variety of routine and complex radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and mammography, ultrasound or computerized tomography; operating diagnostic radiology equipment to produce radiographic studies used in medical diagnosis and treatment; coordinating and overseeing the work of other staff; and assisting in planning and directing the functions of a Radiology Department. In addition to meeting the IOR and Minimum Qualifications listed above, you must also meet the following Selective Placement Factor for this position to be considered qualified – SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Certification Valid and current Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). This position is located in the Medical Imaging (Radiology) department at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center located in Phoenix, AZ. This position serves as a Medical Imaging Informaticist primarily responsible for supporting the PIMC Medical Imaging department. Incumbent serves as a specialist/integrator in the implementation and ongoing support of multi-service clinical software applications used in the hospital and clinic setting.
