GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing extensive practical working technical expertise in a field of Nuclear Systems. Experience with Naval Nuclear complex administration, technical procedures and quality controls requirements. Experience demonstrating independent practical judgment and knowledge of quality engineering or radiological engineering principles. Experience gathering, collating, evaluating and analyzing quality and performance data, developing technical reports and making recommendations. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience demonstrating working knowledge of the shipyard’s radiological controls and the shipyard Nuclear Power Manual Chapters. Experience working with the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department or Radiological Controls Division directive and NAVSEA policies. Experience communicating orally and in writing, along with the ability to analyze the applicability of new developments and new technical approaches and procedures to nuclear and quality control requirements. The selectee for this position will serve as a Engineering Technician (Nuclear) in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department, Nuclear Quality Division (Code 2350.2, Radiological Assessment Branch) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
