Supply Technician

You qualify at the GS-05 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: assisting in performing inventory functions; assisting in checking shipping supplies; compiling data to include in reports; and assisting in responding to customer inquiries. OR Completion of 4 years of education above high school. OR A combination of education and specialized experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. You qualify at the GS-06 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: performing routine inventory management functions; maintaining adequate supplies and forms to support an organization; entering shipping data into a database system; and responding to customer inquiries. You qualify at the GS-07 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: ensuring supply operations comply with supply policies and regulations; monitoring and maintaining adequate supplies to support an organization; processing and storing shipping materials; using online reporting systems to maintain and track inventory; and communicating information related to supply to customers. These Supply Technician positions will be located in the Division of Logistics Services (DLS), Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations (OLAO), Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OALM), Office of Management (OM), Office of the Director (OD), NIH. The DLS Mission manages all aspects of supply chain management, property administration, and transportation management programs that is transparent, responsive and efficient.
