Senior Space Management Specialist

Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series to which you are applying. Specialized Experience To qualify for the GS-15, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: MUST MEET ALL 1) Developing and implementing portfolio-wide policies, standards, or guidelines for Federal space management, including commercial leases, GSA occupancy agreements, collocations, and related programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs; and, 2) Providing expert technical advisory services, analyses, and problem resolution in all aspects of Federal space management, incorporating agency leadership intent into plans and activities; and, 3) Leading portfolio level councils, committees, and working groups related to Federal space management, employee housing, and/or asset management; and 4) Overseeing a national program of diverse, independent entities to ensure conformance with program objectives and performance goals; and 5) Coordinating, compiling, and overseeing completion of technical reports, analyses and strategic plans in response to Federal requirements; and 6) Managing and developing budgetary documents related to national space management programs.
