MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for this position will be evaluated under the federal wage system job grading standards for WG-3500. No specific length of experience is required. Applicants will be rated on the basis of their response to the assessment questions included in the vacancy announcement and the information contained in their resume. Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element. Failure to meet the screen out element will result in an ineligible rating. SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. Physical effort will be needed to perform the duties of the position. Must be able to frequently lift and pull heavy items weighing over 40 pounds. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
This position is located in the Facility Management/Maintenance Department at the Pine Ridge Service Unit in Pine Ridge, SD. The incumbent will provide various laboring duties such as cleaning and lawn maintenance of government TDY units and periodic cleaning and lawn maintenance of vacated and renovated government housing units. The position reports to the work leader or department supervisor.
