Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have FAA certification to perform aircraft inspections. Must have experience that demonstrates the ability to perform maintenance inspections on a variety of General Aviation (GA) aircraft. Must be skilled in the use of aircraft test and diagnostic equipment. Must be able to determine if systems and components are operating properly as per technical specifications. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must have skill in dealing with the public. Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. Must be able to pass a physical no later than 60 days after date of employment, Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check w/Inquires (NACI). “This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.”
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin Aero Club. Must have FAA to perform aircraft inspections. This position includes recruitment incentive bonus of $5,860 to $6,114 depending on experience level at time of hire and with a service commitment agreement.
