To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker (Security Room), you must meet the following requirements: This announcement will be open for 365 days(Standing Register) with established cut-off dates; which allows acceptance of applications through the closing date of the announcement or until 300 applications have been received, whichever occurs first. The intent of this announcement is to establish a standing register of qualified candidates and refer for consideration when vacancies occur. Applications will be referred based on receipt of applications and established cut-off dates as follows: 1st Cut-off: November 27, 2024 or when 100 applications have been reached, whichever occurs first. 2nd Cut-off: or February 27, 2025 or when 200 applications have been reached, whichever occurs first. 3rd Cut-off: May 27, 2025 or when 300 applications have been reached, whichever occurs first. Final Cut Off and Closing Date: August 27, 2025 or when 300 applications have been reached, whichever comes first. *****ONCE ALL SELECTIONS ARE MADE, THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE CLOSED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE.***** To qualify for the position, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must meet the following Screen-Out element, JOB ELEMENT 1, Ability to do the work of a Printing Plant Worker (Security Room)(Screenout), without more than normal supervision to be considered eligible for the position. Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of this position. These duties require: packing, labeling, loading, stacking, and inspecting printed material for quality while maintaining a clean and safe work area. to be considered for this position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
