Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have prior experience in preventive maintenance repair. Must have ability to use and maintain light weight hand or powered tools and equipment. Must be capable of operating a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license. Able to work in a courteous and cooperative manner with fellow employees and guests. Ability to work safely and use good judgment with equipment and tools. Successful completion of technical or vocational training in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity is desirable. Able to complete maintenance tasks timely and accurately. Personal computer experience is desirable.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Wrangler Bunkhouse Lodging facility on F.E. Warren AFB, WY. This position is considered Flexible with a guarantee of 0 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. As a Flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave and benefits. The starting pay for this position is set by Federal pay setting regulations at $21.91 per hour.
