Financial Analyst – FMS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of accepted accounting/financial management principles, concepts, theories and techniques, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. A broad knowledge of how financial management practices integrate with automated financial systems. Skill to analyze and evaluate changes in program plans, systems, and funding, and their effect on accounting process changes. Ability to implement automated data processing financial procedures, and controls to resolve systematic or operational problems. Working knowledge of software applications such as: Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion Budget & Planning preferred, but not required. Skill to communicate and deal effectively with various levels of personnel both orally and in writing. Ability to travel to complete work assignments outside of the typical work week and work hours. Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
