Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning, administering, developing, budgeting and evaluating the effectiveness of a training and readiness program by working with managers to identify skills, upgrades and similar development programs that will meet business management objectives and war readiness capabilities. I utilize various office automation software programs, tools and techniques to support training operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases and graphs to maintain organization and use as visual aids during presentations and/or briefings. I also maintain a collection of training materials such as written training guides, graphic visual aids, training films, sound records, or curriculum materials, etc. and when necessary, develop educational curriculum to meet specific training requirements. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Develops an Annual Training Plan (ATP) that incorporates all training requirements for military personnel and civilians; 2) Consults with managers and supervisors to identify training requirements; 3) Prepares and submits appropriated fund (APF) operating and capital expenditure budgets to ensure funding is available for training requirements; 4) Evaluates and reports on the effectiveness of all training programs and provides reports through a formal feedback system; 5) Justifies training budgets, defends new/additional expenditure requirements, and maintains training plan/program financial records; 6) Monitors training requirements to ensure personnel are trained, requirements are accurately documented, and training records are updated to ensure personnel are enrolled in Career Development Courses (CDC) as required; and 7) Develops solutions and strategies to improve mission accomplishment.
