One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-13 within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as experience: Supporting organizational collaboration via cloud-based professional networking tools within an enterprise organization, and Analyzing collaboration tools and strategies to recommend the best tools and practices, and Performing cost and benefit analysis of collaboration tools or applications, and Performing research studies or projects to improve collaborative program operations. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) is seeking a Collaboration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to be part of a team responsible for providing DTICs customer product portfolio that includes collaboration, identity and access management, search, and analytics. As part of the team, you will support activities to transform how the Defense scientific and technical community shares information and collaborates.
