Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: WG-02: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. To be qualifying your experience should demonstrate the following: stock movement methods and loading and unloading methods to move materials safely and prevent damage during transport. The set up and operation of equipment operated including procedures for routine adjustments, minor repairs, and cleaning of equipment operated. Knowledge of simple arithmetic and counting to select accurate order quantities and basic English to read orders and write labels. Physical Requirement: Able to stand for prolonged periods of time and able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Lifting often may be from floor level to eye level.
