To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C. Physical effort is expended in continually standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in small or cramped quarters. Frequently carries, lifts, pulls or pushes carts and equipment weighing up to and beyond 50 pounds. Work is sometimes performed on ladders and/or scaffolds, which requires employee to work overhead or in stretched, cramped or awkward positions. Work is performed inside and outside in all kinds of weather. Employee may perform work where pungent fumes are present. Employee has exposure to the possibility of scrapes, bums, and infections and has the occasional exposure to serious injury. Selective Placement Factor (SPF)You must possess a valid Journeyman’s Electrician’s license. (Submit copy of licensure) You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
This position is located at the Rosebud PHS Indian Hospital, Rosebud South Dakota. The purpose of this position is to perform journeyman electrician duties.
