Business Development Internship

Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled at least part-time in an accredited college or university in a graduate level program. The ideal candidate should have a concentration in business, economics, international relations, development policy, or other related subjects. Strong written, research and oral communication skills are required. Demonstrated research skills and ability to synthesize and distill key points from large amounts of data and documents are required. Strong ability with programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Successful completion of a background investigation is also required. Some knowledge of and/or experience in project and corporate finance, and specific sectors and countries is desirable, but not required. Individuals with initiative and the ability to work independently are preferred. A one-page writing sample will be required for interview.

Duties vary based on the department and/or office in which the intern is placed.
