Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying an in depth knowledge of accounting, budget or other financial management regulations, practices, procedures, and policies related to specific financial management functions. Keyboarding is required. Experience applying a working knowledge of STARs or similar Government accounting systems or private sector accounting system. This working knowledge must encompass but is not limited to; the ability to perform semi-independent reconciliations, obligation adjustments, corrections to suspense documents, etc. Experience carrying out analysis of data semi­-independently in multiple automated accounting/financial systems on a daily basis. Experience learning new systems with little or no official training over a reasonably short period of time, and working independently with customers and within an organization to accomplish their work assignments and analytical analysis in a timely manner (sometimes under a very short suspense time).
