Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to Lead or Supervise. Applicants must meet the screen out elements to be considered further. The work of a Blocker and Bracer (Motor Vehicle Operator) Supervisor which includes instructing others on the operation of tractor-trailers to ship and receive ammunitions and/or explosives, and warehousing and storage of these components; and training others in the blocking and bracing equipment on truck trailers using blocks, braces, or other staying devices; and leading others in the operation of truck-tractors with semi-trailers and Strad-O-Lift trailers to haul explosives, munitions, and components. – Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading) Ability to Lead or Supervise Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Knowledge of Materials Measurement and Layout Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Physical Effort: Moderate lifting/carrying between 15-44 pounds may be required. Working Conditions: Required to work both inside and outside exposed to fumes, smoke, and gases and around machinery
