In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performs all aspects of landscape architectural design for a wide variety of installation shore facility projects and sites, including planning, concept design development, sustainable design, design analyses, compliance with codes and standards, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and other required services; 2) Prepares landscape architecture design, construction documents and specifications, for new and renovation projects to various types of Navy and Marine Corps facilities, using the latest technological design and drafting tools (CAD);3) Coordinating the landscape architectural design with the architectural and engineering disciplines for Design-Bid-Build (DBB) and Design-Build (DB) projects to ensure overall compatibility and efficiency of the site and building design; 4) Providing a high degree of innovation, creativity, imagination, resourcefulness and technical judgment concerning design, construction, and contractual problems without precedent; 5) Providing post construction award services (PCAS), including review and approval of contractor’s submittals for conformance with the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications and participating in multi-disciplinary in-house design teams.
